The whale shark is the largest fish in the World; it can grow up to 15 meters of length. The migratory route brings them to the tropical waters close to Holbox Island where the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean come together. 
This is one of the special areas in the world where these spectacular animals come together. From June to August these docile creatures congregate to eat the rich plankton.
